Conditions We Treat

Retinal & Macular Diseases

Our practice diagnoses and manages a full spectrum of retinal conditions, from common age-related diseases to complex surgical cases.

01

Diabetic Retinopathy

Damage to retinal blood vessels caused by diabetes, potentially leading to vision loss if untreated. We offer screening, monitoring, laser treatment, and injectable therapies.

02

Macular Degeneration (AMD)

Age-related deterioration of the macula affecting central vision. We manage both dry and wet forms with monitoring, nutritional guidance, and intravitreal injections.

03

Retinal Detachment

A medical emergency where the retina pulls away from underlying tissue. We provide urgent evaluation and surgical repair including vitrectomy and scleral buckle procedures.

04

Macular Hole

A small break in the macula causing distorted or blurred central vision. Surgical repair through vitrectomy is often successful when performed promptly.

05

Retinal Vein Occlusion

Blockage of retinal veins causing bleeding and fluid accumulation. Treatment includes anti-VEGF injections and laser therapy to preserve and restore vision.

06

Epiretinal Membrane

A thin scar tissue layer on the retinal surface that can cause distortion. Surgical removal via vitrectomy may be recommended if vision is significantly affected.

07

Vitreous Hemorrhage

Bleeding into the vitreous gel, often related to diabetes or retinal tears. We determine the source and provide appropriate treatment including possible surgery.

08

Diabetic Macular Edema

Fluid buildup in the macula caused by leaking blood vessels in diabetic patients. Anti-VEGF injections and steroid implants are effective treatment options.
